Miriam Rivera is CEO, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Ulu Ventures, a venture capital (VC) firm based in Silicon Valley focused on high-growth, market-leading information technology and internet companies. The firm has 10 unicorns in its portfolio, including 3 US public companies: Palantir, SOFI and FIGR. Before Ulu, Miriam was VP/Deputy General Counsel at Google. 

She is a trustee emerita of Stanford, served on the: Dean’s Council at Stanford’s GSB and Law School, Office of Technology Licensing advisory board, Diverse Manager Initiative, received the Stanford Medal, was elected to the Multicultural Hall of Fame, and cofounded with Clint Korver, Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs. She serves on the SF Federal Reserve Bank Economic Advisory Council, Silicon Valley Bank Advisory Board, as well as on the boards of Acumen Fund and Sesame Workshop. She was also trustee and chair of the Investment Committee of the Kauffman Foundation. Miriam earned AB, AM and JD/MBA degrees from Stanford and is a Kauffman Fellow in VC.
