Asha Varghese leads global corporate social responsibility at Caterpillar and serves as President of the Caterpillar Foundation. In this role, she guides the company’s philanthropic strategy and investments to help communities thrive and strengthen the systems people rely on every day.
With more than two decades of global experience, including 15 years at General Electric, Asha has consistently championed the belief that business can be a powerful force for good. Her career reflects a commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable populations and supporting mission driven organizations around the world.
She holds degrees in computer engineering, computer science, and business, and is a graduate of the Presidential Leadership Scholars Program, which convenes leaders from across presidential administrations who are dedicated to service and impact.
Based in Washington, D.C., Asha brings to her leadership a grounded sense of purpose, a deep commitment to community, and a strong belief in the collective potential of people to create meaningful change.
