Goonan
Danielle Goonan is the Vice President of The Rockefeller Foundation’s U.S. Economic Opportunity team, leading efforts to spur equitable economic development. With fifteen years of experience, her work focuses on expanding pathways to opportunity, improving systems, and directing resources to underserved communities. Previously, she managed a philanthropic grant portfolio at the Walmart Foundation, advised Walmart U.S.’s People team, and served in the Obama Administration, fostering strategic partnerships for the U.S. Department of Education. Danielle holds an MSc in International Relations from LSE, a summa cum laude degree in American Studies from Dickinson College and is a Fulbright Scholar. A Brooklyn native, she serves on several boards and enjoys scuba diving, salsa dancing and global travel.
