Jane

Jane Leu is a serial social entrepreneur, Ashoka Fellow, and long-time CEO with over 25 years of experience founding and leading companies that drive systemic change. As the Founder and former CEO of Smarter Good, she built a global professional services firm with a team of 100 that provides critical infrastructure—including HR/talent, accounting, and fundraising—to nearly 200 social impact organizations.

Her extensive work in human capital is centered on the belief that "Talent Drives Impact". This vision is exemplified by her founding of Upwardly Global, a national nonprofit that has integrated more than 12,000 immigrant and refugee professionals into the US workforce. Jane is a dedicated champion for women’s leadership and Smarter Good is led by an all-female executive team. A recognized expert in migration and livelihoods, Jane currently serves as a Senior Advisor for the Livelihood Impact Fund and is a co-author of Unicorns Unite.
