Gupta
Pronita Gupta brings expertise in the areas of paid leave policies, workforce development, and other workplace labor standards. She is currently a Senior Fellow at Workshop focused on labor and worker rights issues. Most recently, she served as the Special Assistant to the President for Labor and Workers on the Domestic Policy Council in the Biden-Harris Administration, and she served as the Deputy Director of the Women’s Bureau in the U.S. Department of Labor in the Obama-Biden Administration. Pronita was the Director of Job Quality at the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP), and she also has extensive experience in community and labor organizing. She holds an M.P.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. in government from Clark University.
