Kapadia
Ragini Kapadia is an organizer, educator, and movement strategist dedicated to advancing social, gender, racial, and economic justice. She currently leads SEIU’s work on strategic partnerships, building alliances that strengthen worker power and expand equity across sectors. For nearly two decades, Ragini has directed national and regional campaigns, designed leadership development programs, and worked across federated, coalition, and cross-movement structures in labor, environmental, civil rights, and social justice spaces.
Before returning to SEIU, Ragini served as National Training Director at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she built and led the federation’s training team. She previously served as Deputy National Organizing Director at the ACLU, developing national training and leadership infrastructure across 53 affiliates.
Ragini also brings deep experience in the labor movement, workforce development, and clean energy advocacy, including roles at the AFL-CIO Working for America Institute and Center for Green Jobs, the National Wildlife Federation, and the Apollo Alliance.
