Rebecca Dixon serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Employment Law Project (NELP), a leading national nonprofit dedicated to advancing a just and inclusive economy in which all workers have expansive rights and access to good jobs. Under her leadership, NELP has expanded its reach and impact, embedding racial and gender equity throughout its strategy and culture, and strengthening partnerships with more than 300 organizations nationwide. A Duke-trained attorney and policy expert, Ms. Dixon has testified before Congress on unemployment insurance, racial equity, and job quality, and her commentary has appeared in The Hill, Ms. Magazine, TechCrunch, and more. She serves on the boards of Americans for Financial Reform, the Jessie Smith Noyes Foundation, and other national organizations, and has been a Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Fellow and Aspen Institute SOAR Fellow. Her work focuses on transforming workplace systems to enable women and workers of color to thrive.
